Not only is David Boreanaz's son in this, so is his real-life wife, Jaime Bergman, who plays Filthy Rich. All three are in one scene together when the teenage boy (his son) wants a picture with Filthy Rich, and Booth shoos him away. This scene begins at time stamp 25:35. There is a slight discrepancy from what's written above. The scene is Jaden Boreanaz (Teen Boy) and Cora Kathryn Ann Altman (Little Sister) approach Jaime Berman (Filthy Rich) asking her for her autograph. Jaden Boreanaz (Teen Boy) and (Little Sister) begin moving away before Buck and Wanda run up to talk to Filthy Rich. The three family members are technically not in any scene together.
This is the last time that Booth and Brennan go undercover as Buck and Wanda.
Bones' and Booth's derby monikers are Bone Crusher and Slap Shot, respectively.
This was dedicated to Randy Dee Hafen (1988 - 2017) who was a demolition derby driver who appeared in this episode. Hafen died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash before this episode aired.
Final appearance of Stephen Fry as Dr Gordon Wyatt.
