Perfectly haunting
lukas-ingel18 November 2016
How to Get Away with Murder is a lot of things. It's intense scenes, hot scenes, sad scenes. OMG moments, WTF moments, suspension all the way. But this episode ends with something so different. I think the closest scenario we had to this was the death of a certain character in the season 1 finale, but this was just so incredibly, depressingly haunting.

Now, hours after having watched the episode, I still can't stop thinking about it. The scenes are set on replay in my head, and I feel very empty. All I have to say is what some amazing work there was done with both the writing, the acting, the music, the cinematography – and shout-out to the makeup artists. Damn, they did it well.

Whether or not you liked the reveal in the episode for whatever reason, I think we can all appreciate the work done here. It seems that they have been setting up for an even more emotional and even crazier ride, when the show returns again in (I think) January.

Game of Throned

This involves the death of one the most visible characters. It was wise to put this in the middle of the season because now the rest is recharged. There will be the necessity of finding out who is responsible. There are some incredibly tense moments here. We have the whole anonymous source thing going on so we need to ask who that could be. Great suspense, Great writing.

I've got just one word - WOW!

Warning: Spoilers
When I started watching this show, I never knew that the second season would top the first, but it did!! Now after watching this episode, the team has done it again. Nobody was expecting THIS! Such a huge turn of events. Throughout the season we were expecting our favorite character to stay alive and not be the dead body. Right till the very end the writers kept the dead body in the dark. After watching Wes in the flashbacks and in the present, nobody would have guessed that it was him! To top that, they included the final line by Nate that he was dead before the house burned down! They topped the previous seasons and I'm sure, left everybody speechless. I've still got goosebumps!!

I'm Shook

In a scale from 0 to 10 how much i didn't see that coming? The answer is 0. I am completely shook. I'm so bummed that it was Wes under the sheet! It's because they told that we we're going to see "who is safe" every week and we've seen Wes from the episode 7 "Call It Mother's Intuition" in the flash forward, and i was Happy that he was safe but then it revealed from this episode, the scene that we've seen from the flash forward in the episode 7 was the scene before he died. I felt like the writers cheated on us. However this is my favorite episode. It leave me speechless, shook, goosebumps, or any word that could describe my feelings right! I never thought they'd be able to top season 1 Sam's murder reveal or season 2 Annalise's shooter reveal.

Shocking and dramatic end

Warning: Spoilers
I still think a lot and often how the author's thinking this end and sacrificed one of the heroes of the series, previous episodes were taking us to will is unknown source, but we are surprised at the end of Episode 9 Wes would die, which made me as a viewer I review the previous thoughts and replace it and imagine who is the real culprit behind the crime ? What is the motive for this crime? Expected to reveal clues incident today but did not revealed, but the events of the incident turned into a crime housekeeper and strings crime more dispersion.

Episode was superb and mixed feelings and shocking at the end ..

I am excited to watch next episode.

Unfortunately the ending was spoiled

Warning: Spoilers
I am gutted because if I had seen this episode unspoiled I would have probably loved it as much as everyone else but I think without the shock of wes being dead, it highlighted a lot of the flaws. My main issue with this is that about 3/4 of the episode is extremely slow. Slower than usual and I know that's to set up the ending, but it felt really dull for half the episode. Try watching the season 2 halfway finale and you will be shocked at the difference in quality. Even with an unpredictable reveal this episode only had 10 minutes of awe whereas I was in awe the entire episode of s2 ep 9. It just didn't give me the impact I wanted it to. Lets say you knew in that episode that wes shot annalise. That does not take away the sensational acting, the motive for annalise being shot, the fact it was practically self inflicted and nothing about how asher is connected into the episode. It had so many parts and moments in that episode that made it a masterpiece. This episode had one reveal. Wes dies. And I know he is basically the main character. And I know it is bold and crazy for a show to do that. But you have you understand, that if that reveal is spoiled, the episode feels empty. I know I am being harsh on this episode but just because I am so annoyed I missed out on the experience as it was spoiled. Although I was surprised that when you take away the unpredictability and shock of the episode, it pales in comparison to most episodes of this sensational show. And after all my ranting, I will still give it an 8 because I know if I didn't know wes died, I would have adored this episode .
