Warning: Spoilers
The score is more for the unabashed gross incompetence of the law enforcement officials than the quality of the program, but it just didn't sit well with me. Under search warrant, law enforcement officials went to the apartment of a mother accused of poisoning her child with excessive amounts of salt (sodium). After entering her apartment, they immediately see an IV bag in the kitchen with a white substance in it and another mostly empty IV bag in the garbage. These absolute morons chose not to collect them for evidence because the woman being investigated who lied to them about everything she was questioned on, told them she was still feeding her child breast milk and that's what looked like was in the bag. So these tax-draining morons did not collect this evidence. Why would any reasonable person (let alone a so called professional) not collect either IV bag when the entire purpose of the search warrant was to collect evidence as to how excessive amounts of sodium might have been administered to the child. Even more disconcerting was the fact that they were willing to admit to such a clear case of incompetence on all their parts on National TV. I hope these idiots are now mopping floors instead of investigating murders.
