Love Wins

Warning: Spoilers
Very Rarely does one come across such realistic depiction of human emotions in today's fiction shows. I was pleasantly taken back to have watched this beautiful Mini Series by the creative gypsy on youtube " All about section 377" Not only does it depict LGTB in urban India in probably the most correct realistic and appropriate way it also gives us a reminder that love wins and that love as a feeling can never be unnatural. The scenes the dialgoues and the depth of the script is unseen for a Indian series. The cast is the key here and so is the writing and direction. my favourite episode is hands down the 7th one which is the most deep. Gulshan Nain plays the homophobic man and fits into his role with ease he has a certain sense of innocence and vulnerability Ankit Bhatia on the other hand is extremely good looking and acts very well in a complex role of a bi sexual supportive boy friend Chottu is a brilliant performer and you cannot imagine any one else in his place he is 'A" grade but the soul of this show is Amit Khanna who by far is one the finest actors on the show he plays rohit's part almost as if he has lived each and every emotion he is funny and deep his depiction of this character is unseen your heart needs to be made of stone if you do not get teary in his break down sequences it was a moving performance also the girl who plays surbhi nails the poetry segment her expression of one sided love hits the bulls eye and melissa's performance has a lasting impression even though she comes only in one episode her scene with rohit is superb and too real. each and every character is casted brilliantly though the camera work and edit could have been better the back ground score is superb and brings life to the show. I would recommend every person to watch this brilliant creation by superemely talented Amit Khanna

All about Love

Warning: Spoilers
Came across this lovely series through a buzzfeed article and was hooked. It has the most amazing content coming out of India. The depth of topic is exceptional and it is sad that it is highly underrated. The cast is bang on not only the leads but even the supporting cast is so real that i felt i was in that house while it was all happening. I totally loved Rohit and Chottu the chemistry is superb and so do Sid and Rohit make the most amazing gay couple on screen. Surbhi is so raw and her scene of heartbreak is too real as well as super model Iris shines in her cameo the confrontation scene with rohit is the highlight of the show both the actors Iris and Amit have taken it to the next level also Rohit breaking down after the party can make anyone cry Amit has nailed it his eyes speak volumes this scene makes you choke. Suresh's transformation is extremely well done. This show must be watched by the Indian Government it deserves much more love since I call it All about Love

Warning: Spoilers
Such series are much needed in today's time, have watched many gay series from the west but i am proud of this Indian series as it conveys the message of love even without using a single intimate scene, it gives acceptance a true meaning and homophobia is highlighted truly , homophobia emerges due to ignorance and prejudice.

I have watched it over and over again. Initially the focus is on humor but then the it takes a mature turn just when you feel it should the writing is simple yet impact and the rawness is much needed

The best episode is number 6 which is filled with poetry and the music as well as the female actor's husky voice is in flow. Even the 4th and 7th episode are very good

The highlights of the series When Rohit meets Suresh for the first time and rates him mentally Entry of the hot hot Sid The lovely kuch kuch hota hai and ddlj scene especially when sid pulls rohit towards him Suresh's homophobic friend amused Rohit's mother and Sid in the kitchen Chottu checking out a rich girl Rohit realising his mother has cooked baked beans and not Sid you have to watch khanna and his mother here (i think she is his real mother) Suresh fighting with a couple on the road as they make fun of rohit, rohit giving it back and suresh realizing the ENTIRE 6th episode but the best scene between melica and rohit where she asks him are you sure you love Sid she looks right into his eyes it gives me goosebumps and when rohit just smiles at her when she asks him why you want the world to know - the super model girl iris and khanna are superb in this scene she through eyes and powerful dialogue delivery and rohit just by his silent expressions the sequence when rohit sees Sid dancing in the party it makes you feel bad instantly then rohit breaks down and then Sid pacifies this scene is brilliant - acting /direction surest learns about sec 377 from arti the realization suresh here is superb and his transformation comes out very well. The climax suresh expresses very well

Each episode is better than before I have seen it every time i question myself and the series gave me courage to come out to my family i showed it to my mother

Thank you
