Name talent helps out typical misogyny exercise
lor_3 May 2016
Title says it all: this series deals with knocking out women (either physically or via more subtle methods like chloroform) and then tying them up for squirming addicts to watch out there in video land. Call it an acquired taste, to be polite, that I don't intend acquiring.

The recent trend on the news of young thugs punching out older people on the sidewalk, creating severe injuries for the thrill of watching the sucker-punched victims crumble like a tree cut down in a forest, casts a pall over this sort of "escapist" exercise. Porn and violence for audience entertainment is supposedly a release - watch it rather than do it, but watching this left a bad taste in my mouth.

A taste I suspect that might more literally occur if somebody chloroformed me. As a spectator sport, I have no idea what's appealing about that act - perhaps "acquisition" is a keyword here after all - as in the classic Terence Stamp/Samantha Eggar movie of 50 years ago "The Collector", it is the enslavement itself that turns sociopaths on, and by their extension fans of same out in video land.

My interest was spurred by presence of Sinn Sage in a starring role. This was shot early in her career, before she went on to become (and still reign as) one of the leading icons of Lesbian Cinema. An early scene where she is trussed up and attached fully nude to another femme beauty is a hint of her Sapphic future.

That vignette has Sinn and pal applying for stewardess jobs, interviewed by weirdo Jeff whose boasts of an airline seem to revolve more around model planes than the real thing. He dons a gas mask (another fetish favorite) and knocks the gals out with gas. Sinn returns later in a strange vignette in which she is knocked out violently with a billy club. The fans get to see this done over & over in many takes in the "bonus" material. Give me a co-ed fight scene on "Banshee" anytime over this woman-hating action.

In a separate segment there is lesbian sex, but mildly soft-core as one lady feels up a female prisoner. The men featured on screen, including director Steve Steele, are audience surrogates and creepy.

Made by Anton Productions, this is stronger content than the usual squirm- wriggle-grunt Harmony Concept videos in that full nudity is included, but is still far removed from hardcore Adult porn.
