Casting Changed a Little
uncleskuncle16 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
They flipped the casting around a little from the Movie and the Book but still a good start. Nick Memphis is now Nadine Memphis, Bob Lee is already with a Woman and a child living out in the woods some where.

And the climatic scene where Mark disarmed Michael in the movie and got away, Bob is actually caught and brought to the Prison. We will have to wait and see how much of the book they use or just write their own story.

Just a little FYI Stephen Hunter is actually in the episode, he portrays the Gun Shop Owner who helps Bob get .338 ammo and supplies.

We will have to keep watching to see how deep the scandal really goes.

Hollywood Hollywoods firearms
RogerBorg25 February 2022
This is a fairly decent expansion on the Mark Walberg movie of the same name. Everything is competent and enjoyable enough, particularly the casting.

But. BUT.

In the opening pre-credits scene, our titular Shooter describes the Remington .223 as a "squirrel round".

Er... what?

At this point, you know exactly what you're getting. A production by people who know absolutely nothing about firearms. People who are PROUD of knowing nothing about firearms.

Which works out well enough for them until they Alec Baldwin an innocent.

So no. No, we're not letting that one slide. Lives are on the line.
