Inspired by the ghost of George VI, Wills decides to plan the Royal Variety Show, neglecting Kate. She turns to the Archbishop of Canterbury for romantic consolation, and pictures of the two together give Wills a wake-up call. Distraught that Pippa is marrying a lookalike, Harry gets drunk and winds up in a Latvian mental ward before Edward rescues him and reunites him with Pippa. Meanwhiile, Camilla is not pregnant after all, nor does she impress the social worker who interviews her to be a foster parent; and Beatrice nearly kills herself on her first day at the office.
