The Blossom Family tap the trees for sap to make their maple syrup in what appears to be the beginning of winter, but the season for actual maple syrup tapping doesn't start until March.

Polly is visibly pregnant from her first appearance in this season. However, she just learns in this episode that she's carrying twins. It's not reasonable to presume she has not had a medical exam until this point in time.
