Unfortunately, the film does not portray the cultural part of the tradition very well, and it become just another "ju-on wannabe", but without the tension or the scary mood that Takashi Shimizu managed to create. However, there are some interesting scenes.

Ghost Weddings

This is two stories that eventually come together. One is about a man on the verge of marriage to his live-in fiance. He's been having disturbing nightmares that he is trying to understand. The other is about a teen girl who has been seeing horrific beings and doesn't know what to make of them.
This film was a little disappointing. I loved how it is laid out in two merging storylines. The acting was decent and the filming and effects weren't bad either. The stories had great potential but ended up being just ok. I love the bridal costume but we didn't get to see it much. This wasn't scary. Maybe it was a little creepy but definitely not scary. I wished that there would have been more of a dive into the rituals of an actual ghost wedding.
This was just an average watch for me.
