She Doesn't Want to Sing
25 February 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

I have to admit that this show's frantic pace and almost surreal being is hard for me at times. Two fundamental plot elements. The soprano has disappeared and Rodrigo wants the concert to go on. It is believed that when she makes love (like at the end of the last episode) she loses her voice. There is a revelation about this later however. Thomas and Gloria are in Venice so he can do a high tech performance. And, of course, they still want Rodrigo to get his butt back to New York. The whole thing has this sense of underlying passion that must be controlled. Hailie gets to extend herself, but fails miserably. There are times when her random actions get on my nerves. Still, I will continue the ride to the end of the third season.
