Quietly astonishing

A charming and intriguing little slice of life put together with skills all around: writing, acting, editing, directing, music, lighting, sound.

And all for a mind-boggling $360.

AND . . . first time out for everybody but the sound guy.

Wow.

I'm a day past having seen it and my appreciation continues to grow as I comprehend it more and more.

This is really an amazing little film.

Stunning

Never before have I had that much goosebumps during one movie. Staid lets the viewer in on extremely personal relationships between characters. The direction was so well done that I almost felt as if I was there with Baby as she went through a deep depression. The music was a stand out feature, every track sending waves of different emotions through your body. Staid is a cinematic masterpiece considering the budget was a bizarre €300.

Terrific cast, gorgeous soundtrack and outstanding direction by O'Brien.

I turned it off after 27 minutes. I could never care about these people. I read reviews before I tried to watch this film and was hoping to find a good movie. I couldn'd take any more. Maybe I should have watched longer....but I had already lost 27 minutes of my life that I can never recapture.
