The video gathered a million hits within a few days of being uploaded, then later moved into the multi-millions.
Though "Bush Vs. Zombies" was produced to promote a broadband web site called MyEverything, the company ended up going out of business in 2007. This video and a couple of other less successful attempts at going viral are all that's left of that company.
