Fred Armisen perfectly captures the curious artist David Byrne, and Bill Hader smartly and hilariously serves as a 3-way-cross between the other original members of the Talking Heads. He grooves around playing the bass exactly like Tina Weymouth; acts, sings, and even looks like keyboardist/guitarist Jerry Harrison; and made sure to wear drummer Chris Frantz's signature blue polo shirt. He somehow manages to cooly portray three uniquely different people all at once.

The writers certainly did their homework on the band, parodying the origin story of each member's entry to the band in a playfully honest way. If you're a committed Talking Heads fan, you'll catch references from live shows before Stop Making Sense, Jerry Harrison's solo career, and Tina Weymouth/Chris Frantz's Tom Tom Club.

This episode is excellent.
