When asked about her life in New York City, guest Ally Sheedy refers to visiting an unnamed deli restaurant, popular and well-known there because people come to see a man working there who has a nasty disposition and yells at nearly every customer. This is possibly an early reference to Albert Yeganah, an Iranian man who worked at the Soup Kitchen International and was made internationally famous by being portrayed as "The Soup Nazi" in the popular sitcom Seinfeld (1989).
