Outstanding!

This is the type of movie that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. It's a roller coaster of emotions: laughter, awe, sorrow, wonder, and lots of love. Mas Que Hermanos has such fantastic acting, script, settings, and effects; definitely deserves the honor of representing Panama at the Oscars!

Roller Coaster of Emotions

You have to watch this movie, the story was well told, the characters, the cast, everything makes you want to see what's going to happen next... it has it all, it will make you laugh, cry, feel anger at some situations, feel sorrow... The movie got my attention from the beginning 'til the end. I can't wait to get it on digital media and watch it again.

Lack of cinematography language

Unfortunately this story never takes off to be a movie, it has definitely the codes of any standard telenovela: characters going from poverty to prosperity, some incoherent tragedies and obviously a romance; but not even these elements transmit any maturity from the film, it is very primary.

Terrible soap opera, one of the worst movies ever
guisreis6 February 2024
There are very films in the world which are worse than this underdevelopped garbage from Panama, seeming a soap opera full of clichés, oscilating between the most shallow and gratuitous extreme melodrama and the most sugary brainless romantic comedy (the professor is the worst of all, indeed). The very beginning, with the children, seemed a little amateur production but with potential to follow a promising path. However, all that has been abandoned (where the hell is the homeless guy who speaks English?!) in favor of even flatter narrative decisions. It is laughable, but, above all, too annoying. The entire structure is the one of a bad soap opera, both in the happy and in the tragic moments. Nothing makes sense, not a single element of the stoey has a proper development. I am still baffled by Canal Brasil having chosen this Z-film for its Foreign Film Festival, which always selects great awarded movies from all over the world.
