Atmospheric film, that creates tension from the start, utilises a number of intriguing characters and keep things interesting despite essentially a single set. The 'twist' ending is a stretch to buy into since it's highly improbable a 9-year old could have created such characters and backstories. A shame as it devalues the previous 85mins - The film would have benefited from an ending that didn't try to offer explanation, letting the audience create their own or ponder the possibilities.
The ending itself is a neat idea, and had the film utilised simpler characters together with some interspersed illogical / seemingly impossible events, would have made a satisfying conclusion.
