Dicte Is Just Too Irrational
Hitchcoc17 October 2017
The main character has gone from being thoughtful and somewhat normal to being a raging loose cannon. I know that the series creators wanted an idiosyncratic person as their lead. But Dicte has become so driven and so undependable as this series ends, that I can hardly stand to see her on screen. She leaps to conclusions with virtually no evidence and compromises the lives of people. I know it's just a show, but one should apply some logic to it. The main issue in this final episode is her birth father finally admitting that she has a half-sister. He warns her that this woman is a user and immoral. When Dicte, who can't resist sticking her nose into everything, finds the woman, it would appear that everything the man said is right. She uses video porn. She tries to borrow money with no intention of paying anything back. Of course, the plot twist is that she had a relationship with a bad guy and now he is stalking her. He claims it is just the other way around. The point is that Dicte has seriously exacerbated the situation. A couple subplots involve Rose's falling out with the man she says is the father of her baby. She is really tiresome as are her friends. Anne is on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of her job and Thorsten is going to leave her to join a commune. And Nina is drinking again and finally give in to that horrible head of homicide who has been abusing his authority. The first half of this episode is so bleak, it's hard to watch. And Bo has returned! Whoopie!
