Unofficially titled the best Lithuanian cartoon of 80s

The father's fictional monster, who had to frighten his child to prevent him from watching football, becomes their best friends with a girl. This movie encourages kids not to be afraid of a monster Baubas.

Warning: Spoilers
Watched this cartoon almost recently, in the beginning of the year 2020. By the way, I wanted to watch it in childhood because of one screencap I saw in one public page in VK, however, I was not so interested.

But only two months before my 18th birthday, when I searched for ending credits for my huge collection, I found "Baubas" for ending credit. However, the Russian dub on site I used had no credits but good quality.

But, why I am talking about it too much? The plot is quite simple: a lonely girl lives with parents who do not notice her. Her dad tells a story about strange creature who comes at night and the fume goes on a cactus and creates a new creature who(despite of some of problems of his character) befriends the girl and girl befriends him.

And it is a personal thing, but I think that Baubas and the ginger girl make a perfect couple(because I am a fan of unconventional couples) and the cartoon shows that in the end they make an almostly perfect relationship.

10/10 for visual part, main characters and music.
