A strong pickup from the first episode
pokharshini20 July 2017
The first episode had some fundamental deficiencies, the writers trying to overcompensate for the lack of story and direction. However the second episode perfectly highlights the challenges that Harvey is set to face as the managing partner. He corrects some of the mistakes he had been making and now looks ready to handle the firm. There is still stagnation around the lives of key characters with the story going no where and the key characters struggling with each other. The season is still in transition mode, and needs to pick up with a new twist. The acting of the key characters and the focus on the issues with their character saves the day for the episode. Much better than the first.

OH, THANK GOD!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Last episode I felt they lost all credibility by making Donna senior partner! Thank god they fixed it! Manager sure but senior partner was ridiculous! I actually wrote a review about it and said exactly what Jessica said to Harvey on the phone. This was a good episode! Harvey and Louis both got their sh** together and I was happy to see Jessica again. I miss her. The only thing I felt was missing was to see Mike tell his client he got him the money. I know it's a small part but I always want to see the emotional closure and not just the end result.

Season thankfully continues to deliver

Warning: Spoilers
'The Statue' is yet another well-done episode in the 7th season of 'Suits' and it allows us to observe more and more of the character's development. Surprisingly, and quite delightfully, we get to see Jessica Pearson for a couple of key scenes as a form of passing the torch to Harvey. Louis' character is interestingly developed from the previous episode as he copes with the grief of losing his fiancé, and the sessions with his psychiatrist are quite insightful. I think Rick Hoffman does a spectacular performance portraying Louis and he never disappoints. Even when it comes to the minor facial expressions and jolts, one can almost sense Louis' pain thanks to Rick Hoffman. Louis has come a long way since the beginning of the series. The remainder of the cast delivers quite splendidly as well with their trademark attitude and prowess.

George Reeves is an actor!!

Warning: Spoilers
Excellent episode yet again. That's all I have to say in this matter. However, to the so called critics saying it was wrong when Jessica and Harvey are talking about Superman, and Jessica says George Reeves, mote than a few commented that this was wrong... Em no.... the Actor George Reeves (no relation to Christopher Reeves) played Superman in a tv show called Adventures of Superman from 1952-1958....if your gonna slate the show for getting something wrong, do your research!! This is why it is not listed as a goof... Cos it ain't!!

Pulls It Back Together
Hitchcoc8 September 2023
The issues here evolve around Harvey continuing to have issues with the rest of the firm. First of all he gives Donna a senior partner position and others are more deserving. This is dealt with creatively in the episode. Louis has failed with his woman and he is tyrannical and wants Harvey's head. Mike has the pro bono case that he has to give up in order to save the firm. Harvey continues his relationship with his counselor. But, ultimately, like so many Suits episodes there are so many rabbits out there to be pulled out of hats and the lawyers always seem to find them. They also have so many connections. Once again, Mike has to deal with his past in court.

Indifferences & Reflection
Essay-Kun27 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'll rate this episode as one of the best episodes in SUITS.

When you start it you feel like it's one of the another good episode but near the end it turns out to be much more than that .

~ A new boss and everyone tries to build around you, push you and you gotta show everyone their position.

And it suddenly becomes important how you handle people , it's an art of what you succumb to and what not to.

The right boss is the one that knows how to put people at right places.

The art of reflection by everyone even after the indifferences was fantastic to watch.

I was most impressed by Patricks acting .

He had this calm composure on his face throughout like a man you could trust or a man that knows how to get around things .

Perfect Mike !

PS : HOMERUN !

Ultimately another Home Run Episode
scottkursch9 March 2019
Before I watched the episode, I read the user reviews including the "Christopher Reeves Fact Check". I think my mind is still blown that the writers could have missed this and named the original Superman as "George" Reeves. Is it possible the writing called for another misquote (after the "Arthur"), for comedic purpose ? The acting doesn't make it clear, but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise you are right, its the biggest blatant blooper in the history of Suits and hard to fathom.

Either way, I'm glad this one faux pas can't sway you from the 'epicness' that is, Suits. Because the writing has been so epic, is the only reason this mistake is so newsworthy. I may even have to research this scene even further. I've been binging this series from the start over the last month and it's disappointingly nearing the end. I'm afraid for me, this epic series cannot afford to continue losing original core cast members. This is without a doubt amongst my top 3 all-time best television dramas.

The Original Superman _was_ George Reeves.
cr-17616 February 2020
Long before Christopher Reeves came along, George Reeves played the "strange visitor from another planet" in the 1950 TV series. If scottkursch had done a thorough fact check, he would have discovered that.

Whoops
supergye-438765 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Donna begs Harvey and is made a named partner despite the fact she is not a lawyer. Also, her main duties at firm involve reading peoples minds, wearing low cleavage attire that no law office on earth would allow, smart quips, and providing emotional pats on the back when needed, and getting out of proofreading jobs. Here is the major problem. New York has yet to make reforms to its "no nonlawyer as partners in law firms" rule. Yes, I looked it up. She cannot be a partner. The episode still is very strong as Harvey tries to build a relationship with his psychologist. Probably a bad idea but fun to watch. Mike tries to repair his reputation and move forward his personal penance through taking pro-bono as half his work.
