Yes, this TV series is about mankind. At some point of its life, every person asks himself a very basic question, "Who am I? ,Why I am on this planet?, What is the significance of my life?,". This series will start a momentum in me, to find the answers to these basic questions. This is the story of yours and mine that started with the dawn of mankind. This series is based on the basic fact the in the thousand years there were many changes in the ideology of people, but the basic truth about you and me remains untouched. to know that basic truth you need to go through the whole scripture of Upnishad and then Vedas. Because the knowledge in these scriptures will give you whole new eyes to see this world in a spiritual way not in the physical way that we all see today. Thanks

Great job Dr.Dwivedi and the Chinmaya creations for giving an idea of ved, upved, puran, Upanishad, vedang, dharm, Brahm, ashram vyavastha and so many subjects. I think each subject can have it's series. But thank you so much for this enriched experience.

I'm really happy that I got to know about this series.
The series is created by Chandraprakash Dwivedi (also created Chanakya). It gives answers to all you WH type questions of living life by taking the reference of Indian Itihaas.
Why don't people give it a try.

I read some of the reviews and observed most of them are from 2020.
This is the same year I started searching for some quality content on youtube. Blessed to come across Upanishad Ganga.
My existence is drop in an ocean and to review such a series is beyond my capability.
Acting , story line , dialogues , such pure Hindi and Sanskrit - soulful.
Charan Sparsh to all the creators who were directly and indirectly involved in the process.
This series made me curious about reading Upanishads and I started my journey - I read few Upanishads and started reading Baghwad Gita.
I was feeling lost in first half of last year - and this brought some sanity.
A Profound Journey into Asia's Philosophical Genesis
AHooda-B-Hills8 September 2023
"Upanishad Ganga" isn't just a series; it's a spiritual and philosophical odyssey that delves deep into the heart of the Upanishads, ancient scriptures that form the backbone of much of Asia's cultural and spiritual heritage. The show is a masterclass in conveying profound wisdom with grace, subtlety, and unmatched reverence.
The assertion that "a man with Atman is higher than even a king, even Devtas" is beautifully depicted throughout the series. Through intricate narratives and finely crafted episodes, "Upanishad Ganga" makes a compelling case for the superiority of spiritual realization over transient worldly power. It reminds us that in the vast tapestry of existence, it's the knowledge and realization of one's true self, the Atman, that stands supreme.
The depiction of the blissful state of Anand that one attains upon realizing the Atman is nothing short of sublime. The series beautifully elucidates that "he who knows Atman is always in Anand" and that upon realizing this innermost essence, "one has found what is worth finding." Such knowledge is presented not merely as an abstract philosophical concept but as a lived experience, attainable and deeply transformative.
It is imperative to recognize that the Upanishads are not just sacred texts for a particular region or religion. They represent some of the highest forms of knowledge ever conceived by human intellect. "Upanishad Ganga" brings this universality to the fore, highlighting how these ancient scriptures once shaped the entirety of Asian culture, from its philosophy and art to its ethics and daily life practices.
From Buddhism to Jainism, from the depths of Yoga and Tantra to the teachings of the Gurdjieff school, and encompassing all forms of Hinduism and ancient true Zoroastrianism - their roots can be traced back to the insights offered by the Upanishads. The series beautifully showcases how these ancient scriptures were not limited to a specific region or time but formed the bedrock upon which myriad traditions were built and flourished.
In essence, "Upanishad Ganga" is more than a series. It's a bridge connecting the modern viewer to age-old wisdom, a reminder of the profound truths that lie at the core of our being. This is a show that doesn't just entertain but enlightens, beckoning the viewer towards a higher understanding and a more profound appreciation of life itself. A truly deserving 10/10 masterpiece that enriches the soul and elevates the spirit.

Purity and Brilliance
prataponandroid13 December 2023
What we had before this:
Ramand Sagar's: Ramayana, Krishna B. R. Chopra: Mahabharat than many other similar s**ts
What we have after this Ekta Kapoor's and others mindless, endless spiritual s**t
This is the way Indian and Santan Dharm culture must be portrayed.
Absolute purity and authentic. The way the scriptures are in purest form.
I agree that its not possible for most of us to actually read through Indian Scriptures; mainly Vedas and Upanishad's but I guarantee that this series is made well enough to ignore the flaws.
This series is purely for wise and intellects who likes to question everything. Definitely not for the masses who fall for other secondary Indian epics and life routines of gods and their kids and feel content.
What is life?
Why you exist?
Who am I?
Free will or Fate?
And finally Aham Brahmasmi.
