"Mahôtsukai no yome: hoshi matsu hito Part 2" or "The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star Part 2" is a Japanese anime short film and the second of three chapters from a mini-series that focuses on a little girl and the biog things fate has in store for her, or lets rather say when she finds out about these big things and about who she really is. A great deal of these slightly over 20 minutes here takes place inside a library and the family element from the first part is entirely gone now. I liked the watch here again, probably even more than I liked the first part, so here's hoping number 3 really gets even better. As for this one here, the animation is truly stunning and the story and plot as well as the atmospheric take that really makes a major impact here too is top-notch. All in all, close to a must-see for anime lovers and judging from the quality here, it sure won't be long until I check out the final chapter. Part 2 gets a thumbs-up from me. Go check it out. And don't forget your subtitles unless you are fluent in Japanese of course.
