I have been a fan of eggheads and pointless during the 6pm timeslot. However given these are English shows the questions are definitely skewed to the northern hemisphere. Various talkback people n Australia has questioned why we can't do a quiz show in this timeslot rather than import content.
Think Tank provides an equivalent format for the Australian market. Plus I can answer more if the questions. Great to see Paul McDermott back on TV. His banter with the think tank has developed and the think tank have relaxed and grown into their role. Having watched this since it's start you see the strengths and weaknesses of the think tankers and they have become endearing. I'm a fan and look forward to watching each night.
