French animation producer La Cabane Productions and co-producer Thuristar have unveiled key voice casting and writing talent additions to its animated TV special project “A Lamb’s Stew” and released a first teaser that will be screened during a pitch at Cartoon Forum in Toulouse.
Today’s teaser release unveils the casting of British actor T’Nia Miller and introduces 11-year-old newcomer Iris Onyejiuwa in the lead role of Billie. The companies have also recruited Julia Smuts Louw as story editor for the production, which is written and directed by Joeri Christiaen.
Smuts Louw is an accomplished animation writer who recently adapted the International Emmy and Annecy-winning made-for-tv movie “The Smeds and the Smoos” and penned the “Star Wars: Visions” season two episodes “Aau’s Song.”
