I'm really impressed with this show so far. It's managing (as creator Scott Silveri's previous show 'Go On') to balance comedy and drama in a very clever way.
It was good to see Kenneth not be quite so saintly an d how the family unit works without J. J at its centre.
The characters are becoming more developed, the character played by Minnie Driver feels like its being toned down a bit more, and all in all it makes for a better show.
I am enjoying this different take on a family sitcom so far, and think it is really starting to be able to find its feet. I hope it continues in this vein moving forward.
