I've made this comparison before, but I see so much of "The Good Guys" in this series. And just like Stark and Bailey, Riggs and Murtaugh get assigned the little cases before things blow wide open. It's one of the show's virtues that so much time is spent developing the characters in between shootouts. If "Lethal Weapon" has legs, it's because of this particular partnership.
To that end, this week features a few good one-liners, and the opening armored car heist was a nice nod to "Heat". It's another episode that made me smile and that makes it easy to give this show a chance.
7/10
