Amiable enough filler

This isn't the most memorable or brilliant episode ever, but it rocks along quickly enough with the usual few smile inducing moments.

There's some meta-interest here as rather than backing away from Tricia Takanawa, or recasting her as the Simpsons caved in and did, Family Guy chooses to showcase her, still voiced by Alex Borstein. Jewish ain't White, perhaps?

Another chuckle comes from fellow IMDB reviewer namikazedante rage-rating it and swearing off of Family Guy forever. He then gave the Season 19 opener a rave review.

That's the strength of Family Guy, it provokes a lot of rants, but viewers rarely quit it.

Another great episode

I really love the revival series more than the original series because everything about the series is becoming much more interesting as the new episodes go by and make me laugh out loud. I have a sick sense of humor and I love the cynical edginess and violent stuff that family guy does these days. It's one of the few adult shows that love to upset people who are really easily offended over a show that always satirized on how ridiculously uptight society has always been. Family guy still has it's baddest moments of it's unapologetic defiance and freedom of expression. I'm still a loyal fan to this day. I hope you guys go up to season 20 because you guys really make my days and nights freaking awesome and super Sweet.

Seriously who thinks this is funny?

For people who like jokes, Family Guy has been on the down slope for how many weeks now? It isn't funny anymore. There's just a story about some meaningless thing with a hidden message. And it's pretty sick to see how these episodes get such high rating when they're just crap.

I mean what was actually funny about this episode? Was it when Peter was standing behind a tall desk? Or was it when Brain was yelling at Stewie when learning to drive again? Or was it when That reporter was banging an old dude for a scoop?

The answer to all those questions are NO. Nothing was funny about it. Clearly something has happen to the Family Guy writing staff. I can only see it as this Seth is off just cashing in on family guy and doesn't give 2 cents about what it's about anymore. Or he is working on some bigger project.

But I mean American Dad hasn't fallen to this low lever, which is strange.

I can safely say I am done with Family Guy for a while now because it's not entertaining anymore and that is what I thought a comedy show was suppose to do.

Anyone who thinks this is fun is just imagining things just because they see the Family Guy logo because this is not what Family Guy is suppose to be. Keep the hidden agenda in your politics and out of the cartoons please.
