Edouard 'Spyk' Gheur, a man who has literally seen it all. Starting life in Belgium and South Africa. Spyk became a professional rugby player playing for the Dallas Harlequins after moving to America. He then went into bodybuilding and modelling but was another unfortunate victim of the 80s celebrity lifestyle, when he became hooked on steroids and recreational drugs. In the late 90s, Spyk's aorta exploded leaving him clinically dead and in a coma. Having being told he would never walk, be paraplegic and never father a child, Spyk has devoted the rest of his life to prove the doctors wrong. Unfortunately, Edouard 'Spyk' Gheur sadly passed away, a year after the documentary was released. He leaves behind a beautiful young daughter and a book to inspire others.
