DJ and Kimmy attend their 21st high school reunion. High school reunions are the best. Fernando will be Kimmy's date, but gets an allergic reaction to bee stings. Steve will be DJ's date. Seeing all the familiar faces and what everyone has been up too can really be a rewarding blast from the past. Or it can be a miserable time if old wounds are opened up. In this Kathy Santoni, Duane, Viper and Nelson all come back. The original actors returned except for Jason Marsden; Nelson is played here by Hal Sparks. Luckily, Sparks does the perfect Nelson impression.
With all the old memories coming back between DJ and Steve, she wonders if it is real or just nostalgia. Then Steve says he will propose to CJ. I know it won't last.
Ramona and Max are their usual overachieving selves when Jackson surprises everyone by getting all 'A's on his report card. Everyone is shocked and a few people have suspicions. Truth is he's tired of being the one kid nobody is proud of. He just wants to feel special as he is not good at anything. I personally don't blame him for making the attempt, but I personally would have caved.
So a high school reunion plus a wonderful subplot make this episode a must.
