A sensitive and educational film
tm-sheehan15 March 2022
I'm so pleased I found this excellent Documentary streaming Hopefully it might encourage anyone who is interested enough to find out more about the issues that young people and their families go through in this instance a daughter Suzanna age 23 who transitions to Coby becoming their son who at last becomes the person he always wanted to be.

Coby lives a happy and productive life becoming a Paramedic his dream career with the support of his family and childhood sweetheart Sara.

It's quite inspiring and educational an honestly and sensitively directed by Christian Sonderegger.

Very touching and honest look at life as FTM trans in America

I was impressed at the honesty of the entire family and the background of Coby before and after transition. Although they continued to misgender him when talking about him it still was relevant. There are not enough stories about trans masculine people and this documentary from 2016 is a great beginning. I wish there were more brave souls out there that would step up and give us a glimpse into their journey. It is both inspiring and hopeful for those struggling. A documentary is not a movie it is real life. They aren't actors. These are real people on a journey of self discovery.
