Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a little heavier than usual this week. At first, we are worried about a few of our favorite supporting characters simply getting fired... towards the end, we actually worry about them dying. We're used to light and ridiculous comedy from these Cloud 9 workers, but this episode actually had me tearing up. Things get real, fast. The episode is so well made and edited so that we get a look at each of the developing subplots as the tornado unfolds through the store. I am now sitting on the edge of my seat for whatever comes next- Will Jonah and Amy finally get together after that amazing kiss? Will Garrett and Dina admit they have feelings? What about Sandra and that other girl? Mateo and Jeff? And most of all....did we really lose Brett?

Well done on this one, Superstore.

A fav episode of this sitcom, great watch that surprises you

Warning: Spoilers
Been a fan of Superstore from the start. Being originally from the Midwest, I know how crazy & deadly tornadoes can be (had scary encounters as a child). I just watched the series finale, and while wasn't my fav, still shed a tear & loved the characters. All that said, I had to go back & rewatch the "Tornado" episode. Hands down, at the end of season 2, this entrapped me so much in these characters, no matter how silly they are or may be. The ending song "Into Dust" just gets me as an absolute perfect song choice to the end of this ep.

An Amazing, Thrilling Episode of Superstore
AnimatedCritic30 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Out of all the episodes of Superstore, the episode "Tornado" was the most thrilling out of all of them. This episode has a lot of surprises, like who's getting fired from Cloud 9, one of which being Marcus. Then, the tornado occurs, and the employees do whatever they can to survive. This episode has great moments with Amy and Jonah, especially the kiss, which was caught by surprise, and great.

The whole episode was thrilling, exciting, and impacting, something you wouldn't see in an average sitcom. I liked the cliffhanger, and how Cloud 9 will bounce back up. "Tornado" was an amazing episode of Superstore, and one of the most thrilling.

Cloud 9 Twister

Warning: Spoilers
An outstanding and incredibly emotional episode, well more than just an episode, actually the season two finale of Superstore which really brought home the layoffs and tornadoes all in once at Cloud 9.

Glenn is an absolute turmoil as he decided which employees (six in total) to layoff just as the tornado descends on Cloud 9 with all the havoc that will inevitably ensue. All credit to the production team for the realism, as I have no idea how much CGI and green screens were involved, but really you could feel the hurricane of death as Glenn was in action praying.

I look forward to season 3 and beyond.

A Superstore not without its super-employees and their super-troubles!

SEASON 02:

It's a cool series. But I did not think they would renew it for the second season. The episodes were doubled, and I think it deserved that, because each episode were very enjoyable. The first season was an intro, but I felt very comfortable with this. More characters added, though the romance side of the tale is yet to be tapped. Maybe I think I know how it's going to turn out, but the finale of this season created more curiosity, going for the third. Yes, they have renewed the series, that's a wonderful news and it is going to be aired at the end of this year (2017).

I love the cast. I won't say it was just America Ferrera and Ben Feldman's show, but each and everyone had their own space with their awesome characters. It is definitely going to be one of the best NBC comedy programme. As how this ended, I think it is going to be kind of a restart in the next season. But still I hope it stays the same, particularly retains all the characters, and maybe a couple of new ones as well.

Since I haven't reviewed the first season, I wanted to say that it kind of looks inspired by 'Employee of the Month', but they say it was a crossover of 'Mindy Project' starred by Ferrera. I haven't seen that, but that looks nice, maybe one day I'll check it out. At first, I thought it was good for all ages, but there are some jokes regarding sex. Not that explicit though. I believe it'll only get better going forward and flourish like ABC's 'Young & Hungry'. It is just a two season young programme and I would surely suggest for those who are interested in comedy to start now to keep up with its original pace.
