Fascinating insights
DataSpockBorg6 August 2022
Having watched this documentary, I have an increased respect for nature and how life between species is delicately intertwined. This programme uses easy to understand and relatable analogies albeit with some anthropomorphism. It is informative without being preachy or gloomy. If even half the theories and research results are correct, we have to change our outlook and practices.

Premise completely false - Doco OK

Warning: Spoilers
This is what happens when educated people spend their entire adult lives researching one theory. Eventually they find enough threads of evidence to claim something deep and mysterious. What they are really doing is justifying their life's research. Although the premise was ridiculous, their committed beliefs and inside knowledge of the hidden details of Flora lifeforms was fascinating. But it was very clear to see that their need to 'prove' something that did not exist, meant they over looked the more realistic reality. All life forms are linked together - from bacteria to plants to animals. Each animal is thousands of separate life forms working together for a common goal - survival. All plant life works together for survival - better with its own species, but also with many others - but not with some species they they compete with - and the strongest and more adaptive survive. Intelligence? No. Planned? No. Miraculous? Yes.
