Where's the diversity?
katyberryt6 October 2020
I'm 2 episodes in, and they haven't spoken with anyone who isn't white. My roommate said that the first one had some possible native people, but there were two episodes I saw in New York, and finding any people of color was like playing Where's Waldo. I know there are parts of the country that are predominantly white, but you can't tell me there weren't any non-white people interested in turkeys or the coywolf.

A pretty good tourism advertisement
JakeBrinkman10 October 2021
Essentially the show is a huge advertisement for various tourist attractions around the country where you have the chance to see and sometimes interact with animals unique to each area. Yes, you will learn some animal facts, but if you're looking for information and epic footage, 90% of these animals are covered much better by other documentaries such as those produced by the BBC.

Advertisements usually get a 1/10 from me no matter how entertaining they are, so the fact that I'm giving this show a 4 means this is some pretty enticing advertising. I think the one major flaw is that they should have separated each episode into regions. Several places in CA, TX, FL, Carolinas, etc. Were addressed, but they were all split across several episodes, forcing you to watch the entire series to get the full picture. If I were planning a trip to Florida, for example, I would much rather be able to watch a single Florida-focused episode so I can plan my trip around it.
