  Curt : Yeah... I was there.

  Curt : I'm sorry, it just... it just didn't feel like the right time, your mom's funeral, and all...

  Curt : I really just wanted to make sure you were doing okay. I lost my own mother a few years back, so, I know how hard it is.

  Angela : I'm so sorry.

  Curt : And then, I saw you outside your mom's place, but I was working, so... you know, never enough hours in the day.

  [laughs] 

  Angela : You know, I... I meant to call you so many times over the years to... talk. And, try to explain... why things happened the way they did, and I just... I'm sorry. I don't even know what I'm trying to tell you, I...

  Curt : [Looking down, quiet and sad]  Don't. Just don't. Please, don't. It's in the past, it's not necessary.

  [pause] 

  Curt : Hey, you know what? Why don't we use some of the time we don't have, and grab a coffee?

  Angela : [Smiling]  Sure. That sounds like time I don't have well spent!
