Beastly behaviour

Another good episode but there just seems to be something missing compared to previous series of the show.

Intriguing as usual but there seems to be some things the viewer knows that maybe could have been withheld.

Well worth sticking with.

Clever misdirection, high octane episode.

I must admit, I am a huge fan of Line of Duty, but Series four is the only one I have only seen once, on its original transmission. What I remember is not what I'm watching here.

Part one was excellent, this takes it up yet another notch. We were left with a Humdinger of a cliffhanger, and are tantalised for ages before we learned the outcome of that final moment.

The intensity in some of the scenes was quite incredible, the core cast are amazing as always, Thandie Newton has only added to that, you can see her star quality within seconds, what a presence she is.

The story has shifted, what Roz was accused of is shadowed by what she may have done.

Gripped! 9/10.

Highly entertaining

As a new body turns up, AC12 continues its investigation into the handling of the serial killer case.

This is strong episode with good intricate plotting.

There is little about the story I can reveal without spoiling, other than it has a commonly used formula within Line of Duty of the desperate character trying to manipulate circumstances to serve their own end. This aspect is written cleverly so that a certain deception serves multiple purposes. You do need to suspend your disbelief for important aspects of it, but it does not spoil the entertainment.

Some regular characters develop within interesting scenes, but one decision by Dunbar involving Arnott and Fleming, particularly given Arnott's history, makes no logical sense. However, it's early days in series 4 so I'll hold judgement on what becomes of it.

All actors are on great form as always, especially Adrian Dunbar in the interrogation scenes.

Tampering with evidence is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Warning: Spoilers
Officers aren't recorded entering evidence rooms and can twice tamper with evidence? Forensic analysis team must be scratching their heads as to how they missed a giant swatch of fresh blood that's just magically appeared. Ridiculous leaps
