Pretty good for student films with NO budget
webhead-9755311 September 2023
Pretty good for student films with NO budget and just a week to hand it in (I'm guessing). Be prepared for the dialog and/or acting to be sometimes below par. I'm guessing everything was shot in just one take. All but 1 actor has acted before, so inexperience is probably not the problem. 2 actors have not acted since. (2017) Telling the characters "You're in the Gray Area" was just plane awkward. I'd like to see what Rod Serling would have done with this.

Disappointing

Terrible, awful acting and even worse audio/sound effects. Boring, obvious music. It's trying to be 'Black Mirror' or 'Love, Death & Robots' but frankly High School students could do (and I'm sure have done) better.

I can't believe it's that bad

I'm a sucker for an old anthology series, but this was unbelievably bad. And I'm easy to please, just looking for something to pass time on a sunday. I kept saying to myself, I can't believe it's this bad.

The movie a Jr. High student would make
carolyna040221 March 2022
This so called movie, isn't a movie at all. It's several few minute clips. It's exactmy rhe kind of movie a jr high student might make for a class assignment. The acting is nonexistent. It's as if a bunch of complete amateurs said let's to an impromptu film project. I've never written a review, but this was so ridiculous, I had to! There are no stories, just set-ups. I can't believe that any of the people involved in The Grey Area will ever do anything in cinema again. This is the kind of film that kids would make for fun. This isn't even high school assignment caliber, but it's really something a 12 or 13 year old would make!

Great movie and reminded me of the old horror classics.

There were I believe 6 short films in this movie. They reminded me of those old Twilight Zone films which I loved growing up. I do wish they were a bit longer each short but guess we can't have it all. I would highly recommend this film to anyone that likes old school films.
