This show was a bit like a school reunion in many ways. Yes, it was nice to see everyone again, but what did we learn, and more importantly, what was the point? It felt stretched at an hour too. Did we really need to go through it in such painstaking detail? I don't know whether it was because the BBC had recently lost bake-off to channel 4 when this was made but everyone seemed to be getting overly sentimental about a tent. Pop down to Homebase, you can have your own tent for half the price.
I understand why this programme was made, I just don't understand why it took the approach it did.
