Nice interview

Warning: Spoilers
Sammy Snyders talks about his memorable lead role as the super creepy and troubled evil little brat Jamie in the gloriously twisted low-budget horror cult classic "The Pit" in this nifty 16-minute retrospective documentary. Snyders begins the interview noting how he was a hyperactive kid who started out doing sports before going on to dancing and began his acting career with TV commercials and voiceovers prior to landing the role of Tom Sawyer on the well-regarded TV series "Huckleberry Finn and His Friends." Snyders reveals that he was the key child actor considered to play Jamie and remembers how nice all the locals were in the town of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin where the film was shot. Moreover, Snyders talks about how he would go out dancing at a disco bar on his time off and that his mother was present on the set throughout the shooting of the picture. In addition, Snyders points out that both director Lew Lehman and co-star Jeannie Elias were good to work with. Synders also notes that all the scenes involving nudity were shot separately and says that he's happy that "The Pit" has amassed a cult following. He concludes the interview discussing how his life has come full circle by now working as a dance instructor. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
