Urban Gay men under a microscope..BRAVO
bgoo-198905 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I am a GAY man with no talent. Just opinions.

Let me begin, Jack Tracey is one of the most amazingly talented people I have encountered. This series he not only wrote, directed, stared in. This talented man also wrote a lot of the music used in the series. Thanks to COVID i have been bingeing LGBTQIA Indie movies and series. "HISTORY" has all the elements of the Urban Gay Soap Opera. Jack Tracey has lived the life only way he could hit the nail head. Huge Plus here Jack Tracey is eye candy that can turn the watcher blind. Ok so...that pout he does well If Jack Tracey has a partner, good luck facing that pout. You lose! What most watchers will find though is the reality of gay dating today and Tinder. Jack Tracey explores the different pitfalls in detail. All in all watch this series. "History" will keep you glued to the screen waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Personal Note. Jack Tracey if you are ever in Boston. I'd like to buy you a Beer. I believe you would definitely be great to get to know.

This is a great series all around!

Well done web series where Jack Tracy pretty much did it all. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and felt like I was experiencing life with the characters. There are so many clever moments and lines in the series where it really made me think about my life, and it's decisions. Most of the acting was very good, and all of the main characters were on point. Next time I go to NYC, I will look up Jack and his friends. Do yourself a favor and watch all three seasons.

Hit me hard. Will make you confront any internalized homophobia.

These characters.... where to start. First, there are no heroes in this show. These are complex, realistic people, who will challenge your notions of masculinity and cause you to reflect on who you are versus who you're perceived to be.

In a journey towards mindfulness, the main character (Jameson) is a deeply flawed, selfish person with narcissistic tendencies and seemingly on the spectrum.

He might be a good person, with real empathy, but he doesn't behave like one. Is he capable of learning from his past experiences and change the perception before it becomes the reality, again, or should he lean into his id?

You will find something to love and hate about nearly every character. Excellent writing, though there are several scenes that droll on unnecessarily.
