Sex & Nudity

  • One character,Miu makes sexual jokes almost whenever she's onscreen. It is referenced that Miu walked outside the school, naked.
  • The player can purchase an item called a "Love Key" where the protagonist would be put in a usually sexual encounter with a randomised character within a dream, including males. While they flirt onscreen, anything graphic happens offscreen or is cut away from beforehand. If the player talks with Miu, it is implied she rapes the protagonist.
  • Something that is hinted to be a dildo can be found in a male character's room.
  • 2 ghosts are naked one male and one female the privates are not shown but the girl has boobs shown but without the nipples it appears for 20 seconds
  • There are multiple erection-related jokes near the beginning of the game.
  • There is a scene where Miu does "maintenance" on a Keebo that is sexualized. Miu presses her clothed breasts against him and says he's "throbbing," "pent up," and "so that's the sound you make when I touch that spot." Keebo says he's been neglecting his needs, to which Miu says she'll get it out and make him feel better. Keebo says "If you keep this up, I just might--".
  • Miu has sexual voice lines like "just the tip is fine" and makes sexual noises on occasion.

Violence & Gore

  • Lots of blood is shown, but it is pink instead of red. And many character's bodies are torn open; exposing gore. This can still be very horrific to people.
  • The murders and executions are quite graphic and horrifying despite the pink blood. As most victims of each execution end up with their skin torn off, stomachs ripped open, bisected in half, eyes gouged out, etc.

Profanity

  • Many uses of profanity within the series. The words sh*t, b*tch, as*, F*ck, C**t, d****t, H*ll, wh*re are frequently used.
  • Most of the vulgarity stems from Miu., Kokichi, and Monokid

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many characters have been through trauma.

  • Kaito abused Shuichi after Kaede's death before Tenko stood up for Shuchi and before Kaito apologized to him in the second chapter
  • Monophanie's stomach was ripped open by a humongous robotic bug by Monokuma and bisected Monotaro into half.
  • Maki had a very cold-hearted personality to others, but she grown out of this after she was forced into mind rape b Tsumugi by chapter 6.
  • When Shuichi has had enough of Danganronpa and refrains from doing anything, the audience takes away Keebo's personality and uses him. Shuichi uses this to his advantage to let out a hell-bent persuasion to the audience as revenge.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many deaths occur in the series either from a character being killed, or executions. Some of these might be frightening to younger viewers.
  • In the second last chapter, the characters find out they are actually the last survivors of humanity and fall into a state of depression where they stay in their beds for several days without moving. They are eventually recovered by another character who does manage to bring them out of their depressive state.
  • kaede is brutally tortured to death by having her body violently slammed around, stoned with tomatoes, stones, eggs and bricks during her wrongful execution, until she died from cervical fracture, broken bones, and blunt force trauma. It's more unforgiving when it's revealed that Tsumugi and Monokuma manipulate Kaede into thinking she accidentally killed Rantaro when in reality, it was Tsumugi that killed him.
  • In the final chapter, a character blows up a building and a loose rock crushes another character. At the end of the explosions, another character ends up committing suicide by exploding himself.
  • Taken to the highest degree when Shuichi, Maki and Himiko are driven to madness and suicide and when Tsumugi reveals to them that they live in a corrupt yet loved reality show and they can use their lives and personalities how ever they like.
  • Kirumi bring forced to climb a throny vine, she gets lacerated to shreds by many Buzzsaws and falls to her death, all while screaming in pain

  • Despite the usual "Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events, is purely coincidental." message, Almost every character intentionally makes very crude, disturbing, offensive and drunk sounding reference to a song, video game, anime, or other real life people. It hurts even more when it's all because Danganronpa is a corrupt reality show.
  • Kokichi willingly tells Monokuma to put a motive in the virtual world, which leads to him manipulating Gonta into killing the abusive pornographic inventor "Miu".
  • Monokuma willingly breaking his own rules by framing Kaede and manipulating her into thinking she killed Rantaro so the killing game can keeping going. This wasn't exposed until the final chapter
  • This game is is has horrifying as Ultra Despair Girls is. It's as nightmarish as Elfen Lied, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia are.
  • gory scenes may be frightening for some viewers.
