Who you gonna call…when “Ghostbusters” comes back to the screen in summer 2020? Now titled “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” Ivan Reitman, director of the original 1984 blockbuster and its 1989 sequel, is returning to produce the film, while son Justin Reitman (“Juno,” “Up in the Air,” “Tully“) will co-write and direct. The younger Reitman’s accolades include a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a Writers Guild (among others) for his 201o “Up in the Air.” The world of “Ghostbusters” is undoubtedly familiar to the younger Reitman, as he reportedly spent time as a child on the sets of the original films.

A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera brought us to tears with their Grammy-winning song "Say Something" in 2013, and now they're teaming up again. On Friday, the pop duo and singer released a brand new single titled "Fall on Me," which was originally recorded by Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo for the 2018 album, Sì. Just like their previous collaboration, the song is incredibly emotional with gentle vocals, a smooth piano, and lyrics about leaning on the people closest to you.
"This song came to me on a day that I was reflecting on my past . . . thinking about family, friends, loved ones - and what the future will bring," Aguilera said in a press release. "For me this song represents feeling a sense of connection and finding of peace with both past and current life experiences."

In a newly unearthed recording from 1969, the Beatles’ principal songwriters discuss tentative plans for a follow-up to their final LP Abbey Road, a revelation that shifts the canonical narrative of that album’s recording sessions and the band’s eventual break-up.
The tape — which dates back to September 8th, 1969, two weeks before Abbey Road‘s release — features a contentious conversation between John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison at Apple headquarters in London’s Savile Row. With Ringo Starr hospitalized and undergoing tests for intestinal issues, his bandmates talk about...

In a world in which no one had ever heard of The Beatles, it’s no surprise that Himesh Patel‘s Jack becomes a sensation. Apart from his ethically dubious practice of passing off The Beatles’ songs as his own in Danny Boyle’s upcoming film Yesterday, Patel has a smooth, honeyed voice that is the perfect vehicle to deliver […]

In an unexpected move, Taylor Swift has broken a long press silence to do an interview and photo shoot for Harpers Bazaar with Pattie Boyd, ex-wife and “muse” of both George Harrison and Eric Clapton, and the inspiration for the songs “Something” and “Wnderful Tonight.”
“Recently I devoured this intriguing woman’s memoir, ‘Wonderful Tonight,’” Swift wrote in a brief introduction. “A few weeks later, I had the pleasure of sitting down with her in the kitchen of her beautiful Kensington flat.” Indeed, Boyd’s story is a page-turner: As a young actress/model, she met Harrison in 1964 on the set of “A Hard Days’ Night” and the two married early in 1966. Yet as the years passed she found herself drawn to Harrison’s best friend and frequent collaborator, Clapton, and a simmering romance brewed between the two that found an outlet in the guitarist’s legendary 1970 song, “Layla,” and other songs from that album.

Channing Tatum is having a tough time adjusting to his split with ex Jenna Dewan, sources say.
The breakup has “been hard for Channing,” a source close to the couple, both 37, tells People. “He always had Jenna and their family to go home to, so having their separation be ‘official’ now has been a big adjustment for him.”
As for Dewan, a second source says, “Jenna has a super-packed schedule and a ton of girlfriends to lean on and spend time with. Her life isn’t really changing … if anything, she’s just busier.”
