These 4 minutes we got here are the music video for the Britney Spears song "Gimme". This was released back in 2007 and she had been a big star back then already for a long time, like a decade perhaps and maybe past her peak already in terms of stardom. So Britney was in her mid-20s at that point and the only positive thing I can really say about this one is that she looks absolutely stunning, especially with the dark hair. Shame she did not wear it more often. Anyway, the song is really uninspired and monotone in my opinion. The music video isn't much better. The music video director is Jake Sarfaty and he worked on other music videos in the past too, maybe his most prolific field, always a bit tough to say as IMDb is far from complete in terms of music videos despite the many recent additions. The other actors in here making very clear that Britney is the one and only star here as I got no clue who they are and so does the final shot. Certainly, this music video is not worse than what Rihanna and Minaj etc. have come up with in recent years, but that's definitely not a compliment as it means it's equally garbage. Spears has done better many times in her career. This has to be one of my least favorites from her. Don't watch or listen to.
