At 19:18 as Molly/Lara and Crane descend a circular staircase, they are clearly passing through Dante's Nine Circles of Hell.
The Devil welcomes Molly/Lara and Crane by serenading them with the first line from the song "Cheek to cheek". He ironically sings "Heaven, I'm in heaven...".
Crane reflects on being a man out of time by saying, "Trapped in a world he never made." This was the famous tag line of the Howard the Duck comic series (1976) by Steve Gerber.
At 24:47 Ichabod says "Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn." It is from "For the Fallen" a poem written by Laurence Binyon. It was first published in The Times (UK) 21 September 1914. The "Ode of Remembrance" is an ode taken from the poem that is often recited at Remembrance Day services.
