Why Comedy Over Story and Character Development Is Perfectly FIne
gamecubeandplaystation19 February 2020
This is a Brawl in the Family review, not a Baby Steps one. First of all, this is merely a funny episode started off by a common, every-day teen problem. It goes way too far, and it causes Lincoln to be caught in the center, with him accidentally starting back up fights and causing new ones, as he doesn't know better. The problem is, people think that episodes where someone is treated badly is called a adult." However, I only call episodes that when it badly mistreats a character for no reason, and not for story or comedy purposes. People call this episode a "Lincoln Torture" when this episode merely mistreats him for comedy purposes and not for no reason at all. Because of bad reviews of this, No Such Luck, Green House, and Ruthless People, I can tell that fans want more story-focused and character development stories over episodes that try to get laughs out of people and make people want a good time. However, this episode is pretty decent. 8/10

Just NO!

Warning: Spoilers
Hands Down is #1 on my TOP 7 BAD EPISODES OF THE LOUD HOUSE List, although it isn't as awful as American Fung, Brian's a Bad Father or other abysmal episodes of Cartoons I like but this was bad.

Along with No Such Luck and One of the Boys, this could have been handled better.

Lincoln being the caring brother he is just wanted to help Lori and Leni settle their differences between the fact they bought the same dress.

The other sisters didn't even tell him they already solved their issues, before he inadvertently made things worse.

Again, only with

No Such Luck, Out on a Limo, Making the Case, One of the Boys, Making the Grade, and The Green House, all could have been handled better, but nope!

Plus this segment ruined the decent episode Baby Steps

I hate this episode with a passion

Warning: Spoilers
The first episode was boring and I fell asleep well watching it. But I didn't hate it. Brawl in the family though is a trash fire. It was painful to watch and why do creators think it is fun to watch our main character get tortured. It was frustrating to watch and the girls and literally everyone but Lincoln and Clyde act like pricks

Extremely Overated

Baby steps was boring and I was cringing so badly at some of the scenes. Brawl in the family is ABSOLUTELY abysmal! Lincoln is tortured for no reason whatsoever and he just frustratingly makes the situation worse. I would not recomend it!

Worse than The Taunting Hour? Surprisingly, no...? (Review of Brawl in the Family)
brandyharringtonfan29 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Oh boy, Everyone. This episode may just be the one of the worst ones in the show. For starters, Lincoln in this episode is absolutely abysmal. The way the episode portrays him as not knowing the family protocall all in the name of a weak explanation is handled really poorly and should have been given to the roll of Clyde, any side character really. I mean, Lincoln's lived in the house his whole life, yet Bobby knows and he doesn't? Next, humor. What humor? Ok, moving oooooon... the fight that blossoms the entire episode is a very sexist setup. Lori and Leni buy the same dress at the mall, and end up compromising with Lori wearing the dress on days that end with Y. Yeah, a pretty weak one. And the whole "we solved our problems because you (Lincoln) left us alone" thing is done badly, especially considering the fact that everyone breaks into fight AGAIN because Lincoln stupidly tells the sisters rude comments that the other sisters said. The Taunting Hour and No Such Luck make me more upset, but this is still up there as one of the worst of all time, and for sure the worst of the season.

Brawl to the Family, the messiest of the messy

Warning: Spoilers
I HATED that episode. Seeing Lincoln going through the trouble of trying to reconcile his sisters was painful. And it all started by the fact that Lori and Leni brought THE SAME DRESS! What the hell was that? And the ending where Lincoln going away solved the sisterly fight and him inadvertently started the fight again, did not help either.

I highly recommend anyone to skip this episode, because it's just bad.
