Someone tell me that's not a permanent condition!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
The optics of the constipated king sending Karnak and Gorgon to save his new buds while he and his haughty queen are chauffeured around looking for CW princess was not good. Surprisingly enough, it was a boon for Karnak and Gorgon as they're no longer saddled with those 2 sticks-in-the-mud and Felicity. Their interactions was fun to watch as usual, and their take-down of Auran and her minions was gripping. Something that can't be said about constipation and haughtiness finding CW escapee safe and sound canoodling with surfer dude. The only thing remotely interesting about this dull trio had nothing to with them. It was Dave and Louise who turned the tables on the jealous ex, and it was actually funny. I finally like these 2 characters.

The show must have realized the tandem of Karnak and Gorgon was outshining the others because they broke them up with what appears to be a permanent death, and a lame one at that. If it is permanent, then congratulations Marvel, I too think Inhumans sucks.

Score: Karnak and Gorgon would have made this an 8, but that character ending makes this a 5.

Didn't like this one.

Warning: Spoilers
Curiously, this episode scores a 6.9, tied for the best episode so far and I thought it was the worst.

I've been more forgiving of this show than most. I didn't hate the first episode. It's a simple story and even with the banishment of the all the "good guys" the show has no edge to it, so, I never loved it but I found it entertainingly watchable. A bit of Marvel silliness and I turn on the TV and I pretend it's 1980 or that I'm watching a bad episode of the flash and it's fine. It's comic book TV and I've enjoyed it.

I like the silly plot plugging along of them finding each other in an unfamiliar world. I'm fine with Karnak with his powers reduced and all the side stories like the surfers helping Gorgon, the scientist who steals cars cause she's curious about the inhumans and bald medusa cause the CGI for her hair would cost too much and she'd look out of place on Earth.

So I've been 7 and 8'ing this show so far, but OK, Karnak, while vulnerable walks towards his enemy with a gun? Uh, really? OK, maybe. He did block a bullet a few days before.

And (Spoiler Alert) Gorgon dies a senseless and uninspired death. Boo and Hiss. I'll turn in next week just to see where it goes, but they pushed away one of their very few fans with this last episode.

This is Marvel's worst. Agents of shield had ups and downs, but it was always intelligently thought out. This one seems like it was written by 8 year old's.

This episode shows what's wrong with this TV show.

When a charter died you didn't really care. (Maybe they're not dead.) They pull back the violence to make it more palatable to a younger audience. Jokes when things become too serious There's a scene where it turns into a teen drama with Crystal. Dialogue for Maximus is quite bad.

Plodding Along Going Nowhere
Johnny_West3 July 2021
So when the core Inhumans finally get together, Medusa (Resting Witch Face) sends Gorgon & brain-damaged Karnak for a long walk, to take on the hard-core villains. She and Black Dolt take the limo ride to the beach to search for valley girl Crystal, who is busy making out with her new human toy boy. None of that made any sense, but that is why this TV series blows.

So Karnak & Gorgon take the long walk to find the villains. The extra group of bad guys was told to wait outside to attack the Inhumans, and yet Karnak & Gorgon never see them. Karnak is supposed to be the military whiz, but because he fell down a hill (in spite of his great powers), he is brain-damaged during the whole series.

I guess they figured the story was so dumb, that the only way it could make sense that Karnak did not beat off Maximus was if he had a brain injury. Meanwhile every five minutes there is a scene of Maximus walking around telling everyone how great he is, and a flashback to when he was a boy, and Black Dolt disappointed him. Thanks to the power of remote control, I fast forward most of this drivel.

The action fight scenes are pretty lame. The choreography seems to be that they would walk through each scene, and film it to hope it was good enough. Some of the action scenes have no action at all. It is just Karnak suddenly gripping someone and they fall down. That is how lame the fights are.

Just bad

Warning: Spoilers
Oh yes, don't tie Mordis' hans behind his back like everyone with a bit of brain could do, so you can kill the black guy to give the others characters a bit more of motivation to hate Maximus - because the fact that he is an usurper who is trying to kill them wasnìt enough apparently.

Just saying again - the hoofs
kilkutin22 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
As I have wrote in a previous review, it is sooooo irritating that the animation is so lazy!!!! Please someone, any character, give me an explanation why is Gorgons hoofs shifting from boots to hoofs between every take? Is it magic?? Surely not 'cause no-one has not said so. It is frustrating to see so obviously that the makers of the series aren't doing a quality job when they don't even bother to animate the character for every shot.

And then then Sammy, the tied up earth-inhuman in the chair, brakes the character as well. He has been very aware of that there exists other inhumans besides himself. Or so it seemed when he talked to Black Bolt in an earlier episode during the jail brake because he was aware of the spreading of Terragenesis. Why in earth would he say now "Are you all like Black Bolt, do you all have powers? [...] So I ain't a freak?" By now this character should be aware of that he is not a one of his kind!!!

So frustrating how bad they have executed this show :( .
