It's an interesting true crime story but the acting in this is laughable, at best.
From the ill fitting uniforms and suits to the fireman who gives first person testimony on camera and sounds like he's from California but the actor doesn't even try to hide his New York accent lol. If I had to guess he's from Brooklyn, it's that obvious.
The story is a compelling one- I'd heard it on a podcast previously, but these writers had police footage and details I hadn't known so without the unnecessary acting it would have been more than enough to tell the facts, give expert testimony, and show the complexities of the story and leave out the nonsensical retelling with actors.
4 stars for the facts presented- -6 stars for the ridiculous acting.
