Trivia
The end of this episode closes with The Boomtown Rats' song, "I Don't Like Mondays" which was written by Bob Geldof after the 1979 mass shooting of 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer at Grover Cleveland Elementary in San Diego, CA. The song's title is attributed to Spencer's quoted reason for the shooting: "I don't like Mondays."

Goofs
When Holden first sits on the floor as Brian is playing with the Lincoln Log toys, Brian can be seen putting the red roof pieces onto the stack of logs. In the next scene as the camera shows the full room view, Brian is still stacking logs on the tower and the roof pieces are on the floor in front of him.

Sobering

I thought the previous episode's crime story had been tied up but apparently not. This extra-short episode acts as a kind of coda and is most illuminating in the way it portrays how all the best theories and explanations fall down and are compromised in the 'real world'.
