It feels like they need to step their game up a little bit. It had now been many episodes since we last got something that was relevant to the plot. The last two-part episode was a fun little tie-in to "Rogue One," but it didn't add anything, except for the fact that Saw Gerrera might show up again. This episode also mostly unnecessary, with about two minutes of relevant stuff. The final scene of the episode was great, and it gave Thrawn a little more screen time, something that he has been seriously lacking as of late. I also found the action in the episode quite good, but the overall premise of stretching this subplot idea into an entire episode wasn't something I felt like I wanted. I think that the next episode might get a little back to the basics, but overall, I do think that this season has too much going on for it. It doesn't have an overarching narrative like the last two seasons, but more like a lot of different character arcs that are being thrown together to craft this season. It can be enjoyable, but when we get episodes like this in the middle of it all, I do start to question the quality of the overall thing.
