Carbon-Copy of 'Painbow'

Warning: Spoilers
If you were to take out all of the details between the two episodes of 'Painbow' and 'Somewhere Over the Swingset', you would practically have an exactly similar plot. Except this time instead of only Buttercup learning a lesson, it's all three girls coming to their senses and learning the moral that 'Your parent(s) are only strict to you because they care about you'. And the only reason I have a real problem with this episode is because the villain in this particular episode is none other than Allegro. And the sad part about it is that anyone with eyes could tell from the first minute that it was him.

So I'll try to be brief about the plot: The girls disobey the Professor on purpose and end up swinging into an alternate dimension where everything is all topsy-turvy, the Professor is laid-back and all fun, the Mayor is smart, etc. So the girls find out they are stuck in an alternate universe and try to find a way back home to get back to the real Professor and Townsville. They encounter Allegro, a few censored punches and kicks later and they swing back into their reality where they are forgiven yet grounded by the Professor for breaking the rules either way.

And now for the reasons I don't like this episode: It's never really explained how Allegro came back 'he claims that he 'needed their (the Powerpuffs) energy to grow big and strong again' which doesn't qualify for an answer for me'. Why Blossom (the leader, who is practically a follower at this point) didn't try to talk Bubbles or Buttercup out of blatantly disobeying the Professor in the first place (plot convenience, I guess) and finally (albeit for two seconds) Bubbles twerking again. And no one can say it was involuntary because Bubbles wasn't under mind control this time because the audience all saw her twerking with an honest-to-God smile on her face.

So to me: this episode was pretty much 'Painbow' with a few tweaks here and there to make it look like a different episode entirely. But somehow, someway, they managed to make this episode even worse than 'Painbow'. And I think that this episode was the final nail in the coffin for me to just give up hope for redemption to this reboot as a whole...
