Chez Mammy has to be the funniest thing I've seen in a long while, Mammy's Forest on Christmas Day was great, but this one pipped it. Brendan O'Carroll, showing just how physically funny he is once again, jumping, falling etc and providing those wonderful facial expressions.
Great to see the gorgeous Amanda Woods (Betty) getting more airtime, she's sometimes underused quite a bit. Father Damien is also becoming a favourite character.
The episode felt wonderfully natural and spontaneous, great to see the ad-libbing is still a big feature of the show.
So a few bits of it felt a bit rehashed, the stoned scene was a bit reminiscent of the one from Supermammy, but who cares, it had us all in tears.
Agnes Brown and Co have saved the Christmas and New Year laughs once again, I love the format of an episode on Christmas Day and one on New Year's Day.
