This third Marc Dorcel release in Brit pornographer Liselle Bailey's "whore" series hits the mark, correcting errors of her previous efforts. I greatly enjoyed the showcase of new French star Lexie Candy, and of course appreciated more Stella Cox action.
As with the "Mother" and "Daughter" entries in the whore series, the story revolves around a loose woman. In this case, loose Lexie heads to London from France and seems to service every Brit Porn stud on Liselle's payroll. But instead of the pantomime approach producer/porn magnate Marc Dorcel imposed on Liselle those previous two times, in this entry the cast gets to speak mucho dialog (before humping), and thereby develop some characterizations and context for the sex.
Oddest wrinkle, in listening to the alternate English and French tracks available on the DVD, is that Lexie (a French actress) and Stella Cox, Britain's reigning most popular XXX star, both speak French, also dubbed into English, while the rest of the cast speaks English, also dubbed into French. Stella impressively even speaks French for the "Making of" short subject.
The dubbing is done quite well, and adds a throwback flavor to those international co-productions (with quotas for actors from each backing country) that became popular in the '50s and '60s.
Story maintains one interest, and Bailey stages the sex scenes for maximum arousal. Cox provides pristine beauty, her carefully coiffed hair never out of place even during her soft-core bathtub scene, and then quality XXX servicing Ryan Ryder. For fans of vintage Brit Porn like me, there is a delightful NonSex guest role for diva Linsey Dawn McKenzie, dominating her scenes with distinctive dialog delivery. She plays our heroine's Aunt Stephanie.
Alongside Bailey's best film to date, the delightful Sensual Jane vehicle "My Mother Prefers Young Men", this successful piece of fluff gives hope for bigger and better things from both Liselle and Dorcel in future.
